For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty reunites the Oscar winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker) for the story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man. Bonus Featurette: The compound in which Osama bin Laden was hidden for several years has gained almost as much notoriety as the man himself. Located in Abbottabad, a suburb of Islamabad, the compound was built to ensure privacy. To achieve the utmost authenticity in the film, Production Designer Jeremy Hindle rebuilt an exact replica of the compound to scale, on location, in Jordan by the Dead Sea. In this piece, audiences will hear from the cast and crew on the recreation of bin Laden’s lair and join Writer/Producer Mark Boal on a walking tour of the compound.
