Venerable shunting traction drives into the yards of Germany, rejoice as the iconic DB BR 294 is ready for service in Train Sim World 6!
The BR 294, originally known as the V 90 series, were built in the 1960s & 70s as heavy shunting locomotives. Their weight and power made them suitable for shunting long trains, but also transporting wagons between different locations. In the 1990s a fleet overhaul saw 290 locos rebuilt & reclassified as the BR 294. Despite their age, they can still be found working today.
Assemble trains in industrial yards and take them across the mainline with classic diesel power. Get to work across Germany with Free Roam. Expect the unexpected with speed restrictions, signal delays and trackside workers. The legendary V 90 awaits!
