Mimic

Mimic is an online multiplayer survival horror game where players must work together to get off a doomed spaceship, the Icarus. An alien creature, the Mimic, is disguising itself amongst the survivors and the Icarus has been set on a collision course with the nearby sun. The alien can be disguised as anyone, and stalking the corridors of the Icarus are killer maintenance droids; hunting down survivors to remove the alien threat, killing indiscriminately and relentlessly.

Throughout the match, players can vote and send commands to the android to hunt a specific player down, they can sabotage escape attempts, and sow chaos amongst those playing. Players must figure out who they can trust their lives with and work together, or are all doomed to share the same fate.

Player Roles
The Crew
The crew players must repair the escape shuttle and escape the ship before it is destroyed. However, they must unlock security access and evade the killer androids. They can only successfully escape if they escape without the Mimic amongst their party.

The Agent
One of the human players is a corporate agent, sent by the corporate owners of the Icarus to secretly gather evidence, complete their own secret objectives; and ensuring no witnesses leave the ship alive but them.

The Mimic
The Mimic is disguised as a human but may reveal their selves at any time to feed and lay their eggs. Their sole desire to escape the ship alive.

Public Matchmaking and Private Lobbies
In public matchmaking the rules are set, but in a private lobby anything goes. Want to be joined by up to 7 other friends? Want 3 Droids? 4 Mimics? Everlasting fire spreading damage? The rules are made by you so go crazy and have fun in a private lobby.

Vote to Survive
At terminals around the ship, you can cast your vote to send commands to the AI android roaming the halls to target a specific player. Don't trust someone? Send the android to do your dirty work.

Find Mementos, audio logs, testimonies and reports to discover the truth about the Icarus and its crew and discover the source of the Mimic creature.
