The Bunker — Unique point-and-click, but limited overall — free PS5 upgrade & cross-buy

The Bunker’s point-and-click gameplay is a unique addition that sets it apart from other FMV titles. However, apart from that, it’s mostly slow and not very engaging — not worth it unless you already enjoy other Wales Interactive FMVs and want to complete your collection. The game originally released on PS4 in 2016, years before the PS5 existed. The store listing was updated to include a free PS5 version and became cross-buy, meaning one purchase now gives you both the PS4 and PS5 versions at no extra cost. There was no announcement about the new version, so the PS5 version should be available for free to get in the store, or if not, it may have automatically been added to your game library — so check your library and/or the game’s store page to find it. This adds extra value for original owners as well as anyone new, and you can choose which version you want to play. Gameplay-wise it’s a focused, choice-driven interactive film with limited content. It’s not especially long, but the point-and-click novelty gives it some replay value. It’s also frequently on sale for under £10, making it an easy pick for fans who want to collect Wales Interactive FMVs. A solid choice only for fans of cinematic FMVs or collectors, and the free PS5 upgrade with cross-buy is a welcome bonus.
