The IS-6 is a powerful heavy tank prototype developed by the USSR between 1943 and 1944. Intended as a breakthrough tank, it was designed to push past enemy lines and operate effectively once behind them.

Equipped with a 122 mm D-30T cannon, the IS-6 can fire devastating APHE and HE rounds, similar to those found on the standard IS series of tanks, but with a notably faster reload. It also features impressive all-around armor with its hull front being almost entirely immune to the majority AP and APHE shells. The side armor is strong too, allowing for a lot of angling potential.

Combined, the IS-6 is a highly versatile heavy tank sporting good firepower, mobility and armor, making it suitable and effective for almost every battle scenario.
