Surprisingly Decent Trucking

I purchased in a sale for 16 quid and think it is well worth that having started playing it at update 22 I think it was, they are still updating it. The DualSense features are excellent what with the adaptive triggers and advanced haptics support. I thought it was a great effect where a big vehicle comes the other way and you feel the wind rush on that side of the controller as it passes by. Love things like phone calls coming through the DualSense speaker. I am enjoying the campaign as it is quite unusual for a truck game to have a story. As a Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator player for many years in and out of VR I thought I would not get much game time out of it before getting bored but I have 26 hours out of the story alone which I have been playing over the last few months on and off with some chapters to go, haven't touched the Freedom to Roam mode and will look forward to playing the Christmas Trucking mode when the time is right very soon. The visuals can be a mixed bag but they are great in many places what with the HDR, raytracing and all the different quality and performance modes. There is is whole menu screen of graphics settings including three different performance and rendering modes. I stuck with 30fps locked, 4K res and raytracing enabled and it really does look great in the rain with all the reflections from the lighting casting from buildings, street lights and other vehicles.
