Croeso i Gymru! Step aboard iconic Sprinter units and embark across Cardiff’s city network in Train Sim World’s first Welsh route. Operate Transport for Wales services across an urban rail network.
Much of Cardiff’s modern-day railway network owes itself to the efforts of coal mining, which necessitated the use of railway lines through the valleys, and many lines spurred out from the soon-to-be Welsh capital and linked down to the docks.
With the passage of time, and a growing populous, the scene became much more passenger-orientated and today, the city area is known as the “Valleys & Cardiff Local Routes” – an urban network of lines operated by Transport for Wales.
In Train Sim World 5, sprint along Cardiff’s city area in Class 153 & 150 DMUs, recreating the final years of rattly diesel traction. With frequent stops and changing ends aplenty, feel the hwyl in TSW’s very first Welsh route.
