The Class 170 family has been a part of UK regional services for the past few decades. While mainly found north of the Thames, Southern also make use of the derivative Class 171 DMU on the last couple unelectrified lines on their network.
In Train Sim World 6, step into the cab of the Class 171 and hurry across East Coastway Remastered in a new timetable. Recall the last days of Southern’s diesel services into Brighton and experience the East Coastway route with its full traffic pattern for the first time, including Lewes - Eastbourne services.
Rivet Games’ Class 171 features two subclasses and is fitted with a Dellner coupler, used for coupling to Class 377s in emergencies. Also included is the 3-car 377/3, featuring original Adtranz-style headlight clusters and adding extra variety.
