Some unnecessary details in the gameplay

Interesting new gameplay than Horizon Zero Dawn, main story good. But I don't like machine strike gameboard it's like "game play me" not "I enjoyed game". Melee Pit Master neither, why do I have to Close-quarters combat instead of a Silent Strike on human enemies? This game use bow combat and stealth spear so I think is not necessary to add Close-quarters combat unless there have many options to combat in the first game stage like Elden Rings.

DONT MISS OUT ON THIS GEM

Story: Taking place 6 months after Zero dawn Aloy now has to track down Gaia and her lost components to stop the blight affecting the world Gameplay: The gameplay is fast paced and hectic there’s multiple weapons in the game useful for taking down machines please don’t make the same mistake I did and only use the hunter bow for the rest of the game, experiment with the ropecaster, sharpshot bow, blastsling, and the many different weapon techniques there’s so many ways to play the game. The only thing I hate combat wise is melee is downright useless against the larger machines I wish there was a parry system. Open world: The open world isn’t really anything new but I’m fine with that personally. Graphics: At the time of me making this review “January 12th 2026” there is no game with better graphics than Horizon Forbidden West Music: It’s really majestic Replayabilty: If you wanna tackle hard mode in NG+ then feel free. Overall this is an amazing open world game with top tier story, graphics, and combat and I highly recommend you try it out!

One of the Greatest

I'm a veteran gamer, been playing since the days of Atari and NES. I have played all the big name titles over the years, and this is one of the best hands down. The attention to detail, the crafting, the quests, the way you can track specific parts for builds, how the side quests don't feel like "filler". That is just some things off the top of my head. The gameplay is also smooth as butter. Don't take my word for it, try for yourself.

Fantastic follow up

Incredible addition to the Horizon world. Picks up where the first one left off and is just as good or better in every respect. Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish.

and incredible beginning for the rebirth for Earth

Playing this game after playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, was an amazing experience. Completing the game and it’s DLC was incredible. Guerilla Games use of haptics with the controllers on PS5, has not been repeated in any other game. Having grown up in some of the areas and spent time in other places depicted in the game, I could smell the scenery or feel the temperatures. The incredible amount of details in this game are beyond the pale. This game should have had many, many accolades, but is cut short apparently due to timing with other game’s release dates. This game is just - incredible..

So sad I finished

It was a very immersive game and I enjoyed getting lost in the mountains and the storyline. When it was over I missed it so much I bought the LEGO Tallneck, the graphic novels, the board game, and even the cookbook.
