Broke me out of the Crimson Desert Prison!!

People keep calling this game a sequel to returnal, but that’s like calling gta6 a sequel to 5. Saros is a great game on its own, with obvious nods to returnal but not related in any way. Saros is a refinement of what made returnal great. The narrative has a bit more of a focus here, told well through subtle quick flashes between deaths, text and audio logs and other means you come across through exploration that is reminiscent of other games that we all know and love that do it similarly. Gameplay wise, Saros is more accessible than the game we all compare it to, and that’s a good thing. It can be as easy or as difficult as you want or need it to be. Graphics and performance is top notch. Not a single bug or glitch in my 46 hours of play time. If you loved returnal, you’ll love this one. If returnals difficulty put you off, you’ll love this one because you can custom tailor the difficulty for yourself. Over all, the game is phenomenal and I highly recommend it if you love bullet hell, rougelite and metrovania type games.

Best Shoot game ever.

Saros is easily one of the most thrilling experiences on the PS5. If you love fast, brutal, and rewarding gameplay, this is a must-play. The combat is pure adrenaline—hundreds of colorful orbs flying across the screen, requiring you to constantly calculation your dashes, parries, and shots. It looks gorgeous and runs beautifully. What really sets it apart for me is the progression. The permanent loadout and suit upgrades mean that even when you die, you never feel like your time was wasted. You genuinely "come back stronger" for the next run. Coupled with a genuinely compelling sci-fi mystery and an amazing performance by the lead voice actor, I haven't been able to put my controller down. 5/5 stars.

Um.....

I really dont know what to say other then what a great game this was until now when I just went platinum so now idk what I spent my 80 bucks on. I hope they put something out as a DLC to make it more playable after you beat it. Like the tower on returnal or something. Don't get me wrong it was a great game just wish it took me a little longer to beat it is all. Kind of easy once you get use to it.

Another gem from Housemarque

Going into Saros after the brutal experience that is Returnal, I immediately felt a sense of familiarity. The gameplay and mechanics although familiar still drive a feeling of progression from the previous game which is a core pillar of Saros. Although not a flawless experience throughout its run time, the fluid gameplay and intense world building kept me coming back for more.

Too busy, too congested.

Game is too busy and deaths often feel cheap, whereas they rarely did in Returnal. Saros relies too heavily on quick button reflexes instead of skill. The visuals and audio are still top notch though. Overall a disappointment for this sequel.

Very nice

Can I get a signed copy in the mail with as many devs and actors that can fit on the inside and out?

Phenomenal game

Incredibly fun game to play mechanically, looks gorgeous, and the story had me hooked the whole time. Loved all the King in Yellow connections too.

They did it again

Another game they knocked out of the park. The gameplay is even more addicting than Returnal
