Game of the Year

Game of the Year. 11/10 Within 15 minutes of the game, you'll understand why anyone who has played this game cannot shut up about it. 1. Environment/World | Beautiful, mysterious, and haunting at times. As I was getting close to finish exploring what Exp33 had to offer, I slowed down to explore every corner cause I didn't want it to end. 2. Score | Incredible. It's been months since I've beat the game and I cannot get certain songs out of my head, not that I want to. The score is so different than what you might expect and it hits every note & mood it wants to. 3. Combat | Classic yet modern. They did something with the classic turn based style combat that we all are familiar with, that makes it feel new and shiny but familiar and fun. We are going to see a lot of inspiration drawn from this game in the future. 4. Story | I wasn't prepared for absolute 5-course-meal of a story that they gave us. You won't be either. Everything that has come out this year wishes it could hold a candle to this game.

Really wonderful story, creative world, unique turn based combat, and memorable characters. This game has it all, also the best soundtrack. For those who come after.
