Time Commando

A virus has broken into the army's most powerful computer, and it is turning history into a battlefield.

Time Commando, the 1996 action-adventure from Adeline Software International, the creators of Little Big Adventure, returns. Play as Stanley Opar, a special agent sent into a time vortex created by the virus. Fight your way through the ages, collect the memory chips that hold the program back, and reach the end of time before the virus takes over completely.

JOURNEY THROUGH HISTORY
Travel from Prehistory to the Roman Empire and feudal Japan, then on to medieval Europe, the age of the Conquistadors, the Wild West, the wars of the 20th century and the Future, before the final confrontation Beyond Time. Each era has its own enemies and its own weapons, from primitive clubs to futuristic guns. Pick them up as you go and adapt to every age.

A RACE AGAINST THE VIRUS
The virus is always advancing. Keep moving, find the memory chips, and survive the warriors of every era. Pre-rendered backgrounds bring each period to life, with fully polygonal characters fighting in front of them.

PLAY IT YOUR WAY

Modern controls: Stanley moves in the direction you push, relative to the screen. The original "tank" controls are still available in the options.
Two-player local co-op: a second player joins the adventure on the same screen.
Three ways to play:
Story: the full adventure through the ages, in order.
Random: the sixteen runs of the game in a random order.
Temporal Chaos: six random runs where you choose two of the three weapon categories (Melee, Thrown, Firearms) you are allowed to use.
Display options: Sharp, Pixel perfect, Scanlines, or Fill screen.
