The game did release with its own probelms. But the patches and cosmetic items and features have increased over time to make it a really good fallout game on its own. Its true that once you reach level 500, 800, 1500 i can understand your complaints that events are boring and theres not enough to do to keep you playing, but honestly at that point you'd have the same problems as all other fallouts and have certainly got your money out of the game. If you dont want to spend atoms on the atomic shop you don't have to, the game plays without any of it honestly.

This game was awful on release and instead of jumping ship and requesting a refund I hung in as a die hard Fallout fan. The game slowly improved to be far less buggy and playable as time progressed and out of the blue Bethesda decided to start charging $30 for basic packs and changing the way weapons and armor worked after literally years having a massively negative effect on seasoned players who had collected and grinded for months to years for specific builds. They keep re-skinning the same worn out items for the season pass and ignoring the players who want actual new items. I think it's time I cancel my FO 1ST and move on to something else. I pray they haven't buried the game to deep to be redeemable. Also the new 4 star mod that basically makes these grievers invulnerable in pvp is ridiculous.

Ive spent many hours on this game and invested many dollars to purchase cool things only to ne banned. I dont cheat nor AFK. Logged in this morning and lost access to my account. I hope someone reads this and doesn’t spend their hard working money on this game because they will kick u out and u will lose everything. Play fallout 4 or new vegas where you know ur money investments will be safe

Literally the buggiest game I have ever played. I can't tell you how many times I've had to redo a mission because it kicked me out of the game, often. I had high hopes too. Also, I rarely write reviews and felt compelled to on this one. save your money and frustration and pick fallout NV.
