Can't get enough of it

Every time I think I'm done with this game, an update drops, and I fall in love with it all over again. Honestly, it's the only game I play. Please never stop upgrading it!

One of the best games I’ve ever played a PVE game with tons of unique enemies weapons and environments with an entertaining satire where basically everyone is bad- uh scratch that last part from the record please. I meant that super earth is the best and anyone saying otherwise is a traitor.

Broken, Unbalanced, Mess

Performance Performance has gotten worse on ps5 since my last review. Playing high difficulty missions the fps drops to what feels like below 20 fps when fighting big hordes of enemies. It gets even worse on megacities, swamps, and jungle planets, which causes crashing if it drops far enough. All these new biome types havent been properly optimized since they released last year, so they crash more often. We got a new content update with caves, gloom and rupture bugs that drop the fps below 20 and crash pretty often, or have teammates randomly disconnect sometimes. overall performance is really bad and needs big improvements, not just on PS5 but ive seen plenty of pc players having even bigger issues with the game damaging their hardware. Bugs There's alot of bugs in the game that affect gameplay in a real bad way. 500 KG explosion radius doesnt work right, enemies going through walls and under platforms, some dead enemies have big invisible hitboxes, gas and fire doesnt work sometimes, arc weapons constantly have shots blocked by enemy bodies, plants, and small rocks, in the new update the hive lord can spawn under the oil rig and fail the mission, bile dragons fly with their wings destroyed, rupture bugs have aimbot, bug spawns are broken on some difficulties which leads to what feels like dealing with infinite bug breaches even on level 7. I can go on and on, there's a lot more bugs those are just the worse right off the top of my head. Overall on top of all the new and old bugs, gameplay has gotten really annoying to deal with whenever this stuff happens. Weapons/Balance The weapon balance in the game is a mess right now, theres so many useless or underpowered weapons that you cant really make that many unique builds that are both FUN and EFFICIENT for combat. i dont know the specifics of it, but this game struggles with weapon balance like no other. For example in space marine 2, sure you have a few OP weapons, but the MAJORITY of weapons are viable and efficient, even on the hardest content in the game, and the devs at saber continue to permanently buff items through the year. Enemies Bugs: Overall the bugs are fun to fight and have a wide variety, but the gameplay bugs ruin the fun alot of the time. Silent enemies, constant patrols, visual clutter with way too much spore effects and fog which also drops frames. Bots: I like casually playing bots now. Theyre fun to kill, a tough challenge that feels good with a coordinated team. My main complaint is the ragdolling. Especially if you wanna play a hellbomb build like me sometimes, you'll get ragdolled and killed by the turrets before even going up the first ramp. not only a waste of a good stratagem, but an AWESOME explosion. Some bot enemies are WAY too accurate, even when youre sprinting at god speed with the stim boost perk. Overall bots are still fun to fight, but have some bad drawbacks that i hope arrowhead can balance out better in the future. Illuminate: I haven't played illuminate since early this year because of how buggy they are, and theyve only gotten worse over time. broken spawns, Enemies going through walls, jetpack guys flying to super heaven, weird hotboxes for the player against voteless and fleshmobs. There's also some balance issues, the illumnate roster isnt full so players have to fight against a bunch of fleshmobs and enemies with bugged armor plates, idk man the illumnate are a mess and really unfun to fight. arrowhead gets a big L here. Mission types mission types for the most part are pretty fun, except for defense and eradicate missions. Defense missions are way too boring and take way too long. Theres no sub objective

The best coop experience

Even if you don’t have friends (who really does, anyway?), matchmaking is quick and you can jump into a helldive whenever you feel like it. The game keeps evolving, and you’re always finding new ways to refine your playstyle. Warbonds — like season passes — are always up for grabs, and you can grind Super Credits to unlock them.

Best ongoing game we've had for a generation

From stomping bugs and scrapping bots to decimating squids, there's much that us Divers have to strive for. Every instance feels unique and fun while consistent updates have added new toys to remove threats to Super Earth. Overall, it's the best experience I've been able to have a consistent enjoyment of since launch with only one hiccup. With the addition of Helljumpers as well, I'm proud to fight along side Xbox players.

Buggy as all get out

At the time of me writing this the new update has caused the game to grind to a halt in my opinion between new missions not being able to be completed to massive frame drops and crashes the update has broken the game Sidenote: the report system does not work so you got someone harassing you or sending threats in the game chat too bad you can only block them you can't report them

Much fun

I’ve been playing since launch and at first was very unhappy with the constant nerfing of our fun weapons, but in the past year the dev team has totally changed direction and the game is even more awesome than it was before. Looking fwd to many more future dives.
