Great Game

I had a great time with this game. It has an interesting story with a number of interesting characters and the dialogue is well written and it has multiple endings for you to discover. The game looks like and carries the essence of the Witcher 3 but is still very much its own thing. I believe if you like the vibe of the witcher you will definitely like this game. The combat at the beginning was a little annoying but that was only because I wasn't used to inputting directions for sword swings and blocks but as soon as I developed muscles memory and didn't have to think, I found it to be very fun and engaging. I chuckled when I went to play ghost of yotei and accidentally started inputting directions for the sword swings and honestly I missed it. Don't be afraid of the time system like I was because it's actually very forgiving maybe because people complained a lot before the game released. I was able to get every skill I wanted and do every quest and side stuff I wanted to and completed the game after 40 hours with 8 days left so I could still do a lot more so I wish I wasn't as stressed about the time in the beginning and you don't have to be. This game does what it does quite well so if you are into open world narrative driven games with some sword fighting and monsters and choices mixed in then this is the game for you.

Time System Ruins the Game

This was easily a 4 star game. Maybe 5. But why it chose to limit itself to this ridiculous time economy, locking out the full scope of the game is beyond me. I'm completely soured on the thing at this point. Wish to God I hadn't spent my money on it. Why would you take the time to make a beautiful, interesting world then only allow players to complete a few quests at a time? It's asinine.

SAVE YOUR MONEY

The game story itself seems okay. The combat system is terrible. Omni-directional attacking, omni-directional blocking, omni-directional dodging while trying to pay attention to the direction multiple enemies are attacking is doing too much! It's just not fun and takes away from the experience... also seems a bit choppy even when set on performance over quality.

Brings me back to what made me love RPGs

Its amazing I the story right from the start had me gasping at how far they were willing to go to to make a dark story what it is. They do not hold back rebel wolves are what Bioware were supposed to be and they have exceeded my every expectation.I'm so glad to be young enough to see more of this saga unfold.

Masterpiece

Best game I have played in a long while , well best 7 hours of a game . I am 7 hrs in and can’t put it down : anyone who rates it low is review bombing or must be racist versus vampires.

Such a great sory

I absolutely love this game!! I actually like the combat which seems to have a lot of complaints, but I think the blocking and parrying are fun. I am having a great time playing the game!! Well done devs!!! HOWEVER, I absolutely HATE that it is made with UE5. That means the graphics aren't the best and it isn't very optimized. But, for the first game from new devs, this hit the ball out of the park!!

14th-century Europe. Bloody conflicts sweep the lands, and the Black Death comes for the survivors. It's a moment of weakness - and that's all they needed. Vampires seize their opportunity to walk out of the shadows and claim what they've been denied for centuries: freedom, and the power that comes with it. Other creatures of the night follow their lead. Legends turn into reality, and history as we know it will never be the same.

You play as Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker, forever treading the line between the world of day and the realm of night. Fight for your humanity or embrace the cursed powers to save your family. Whatever your choice, the question stands: is your soul worth the lives of those you love?

Make The Story Your Own - Experience and shape the plot the way you want. Embark on the quest to save your family, or swear revenge on your sire and destroy everyone standing in your way. Discover ancient secrets lurking in the valley. Rush in head first or risk taking time to prepare. Go alone or search for friends and forge unlikely alliances.

Day And Night - Experience two different gameplay loops, offering distinct abilities to choose from, mysteries to uncover, and varying ways to achieve your goals. Experiment with different approaches and discover how the world reacts to your actions.

Every Action Matters - Every action - and inaction - shapes the world around you. Your family’s days are numbered, and every time you take on a quest, time moves forward, compelling you closer to the end. Choose carefully whom to help and whom to leave behind. You will not have time for everyone. The world waits for no one. And neither does the villain.

Sword, Claws, And Rage - Defy gravity, become a brutal force of nature, and use your supernatural skills as a vampire. Or raise your sword, and employ powerful magic to take on opponents as a human. Experiment and adapt as your form changes during the day and night; each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Open World Brimming With Adventure - Venture through the hand-crafted open world and discover all it has to offer. Roam through the lush forests, the vast plains, the treacherous swamps, the steep mountaintops, and the medieval settlements.
