It was my first RE game, and I enjoyed it

Great survival horror - zombies, inventory, atmosphere. But the action is weak, and the boss fights are terrible.

My favourite RE game

I'm not an old school player, I've only played the RE games starting from RE1 Remake (RE HD). This is my favourite RE game. Unlike the more action oriented ones like RE4 and RE5, this one is centred around a tense horror experience. Sound design, graphics, level design are top notch. It genuinely felt like every item dropped, every ammo you find, every corner location, were carefully considered, to make the player always keep track of their resources, analyse routes, and consider when to use which weapon. I will admit though that at some point, if playing on normal difficulty, maybe even before halfway through the game, many players will figure out the mechanics of the game, like where to shoot a zombie to easily give you a second to run part them, and the difficulty might feel a bit trivial. This happened to me - but playing on hardcore solved that. Hardcore difficulty is when the player experiences the real deal of this horror game. I highly recommend players consider playing on hardcore if they're experienced with this type of game.

Great game

Really good and fun game. Very solid, great graphics. Well worth it and has replay value. Throughly enjoyed it.
