Golfing in Aether

Randomized course layout for each time you play. Golfing In Aether accomplishes this through having each hole as its own independent floating island. There are currently 90 unique hand-crafted levels in the game. The game randomly selects holes from this pool at the start of a session and procedurally creates the overall course layout.

Get together with friends in online sessions supporting up to 16 players. Local multiplayer supports up to 4 players with individual controllers, or up to 8 players using Shared Input, a pass-the-controller mode. Local players can also join online sessions with you, allowing you to combine local and online players.

Choose from different ways to play, such as playing together in real time (local players use split screen) or taking turns via Hotseat. Online sessions also support joining as a spectator.

Cross-platform multiplayer lets players on all supported current-generation platforms play together.

Compete against ghosts in Practice mode for the top spot on individual-level leaderboards, with both global and friends-only leaderboards.

Customize your golf ball with a range of color-pickable designs and accessories such as hats. A handful of ball designs are available from the start, with additional designs and accessories unlocked as you earn XP and level up.
