A boy named Nemo has wandered into the realm of dreams. One day, after falling into a cave, he is rescued by a little octopus named Lulu. It feels like fate brought them together, and the two quickly become close friends.
Determined to return to the real world, Nemo makes up his mind to go back. However, his reluctance to leave manifests as an evil doppelgänger, who destroys the gears of the Great Elevator—the key to returning home—and hides them throughout the dream world.
To retrieve the scattered gears and confront his wicked other self, Nemo and Lulu set off on a grand adventure.
