Demo is Full of Glitches

I gave Kristala a second chance but it was way worse. While I got the hang of combat this time around, the glitches were through the roof. First, while creating my character, the game froze. The music kept going, the character kept moving but I was locked out of being able to do anything. I could not change tabs, I could not move the selection, finish character creation or back out of the creation menu. This happened twice before it eventually worked. Second, if using a STR character that has the greatsword equipped, the character holds the sword in one hand over the right shoulder. If you try to open a locked door, you'll get the message that the door is locked or can't be open from this side; however, the greatsword will be put away behind the character's back but the character will continue to hold the sword, essentially holding air. Third, the same character creation glitch happened to me twice more with the main menu during game-play forcing me to restart my game twice. Finally, what should have been an easy 90-min demo turned out to be close to 5 hours... fighting the glitches and eventually giving up because I could not find a way forward due to poor level design. I collected the key that the main mission asked you to collect to then open the closed gate at the end of the village. Well, I ran around 4 times the entirety of the map and could not find where to use the key. I had two gates left to open and both said cannot be opened from this side. That to me means no key is required but rather you approach the gate from the other side and open it. So, I was unable to find a way around to the other side to open either gate. Later I looked up the solution and please tell me, when has a game ever allowed you to JUMP over the closed gate that doesn't open from this side? You are supposed to approach it from the other side! Also, the beam you use to swing over is almost invincible among the environment. That is just terrible. I tried, I gave the game a second chance but if a simple demo is plagued with these many issues, I cannot even begin to imagine what a mess the full game will be.

Cat Souls is here!

This game has been in early access on PC for some time and it has come a long way. I backed this game a long time ago because I knew it was going to be something special. If you enjoy action RPGs and soulslike games, you will feel right at home here. While there aren't any ground breaking mechanics as of yet, you can tell alot of love is inserted into the game from a smaller women-led dev team. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the cat gimmick.
