In Last Battalion Defense, you take direct control of battlefield weapon systems and defend your territory through hands-on combat. Heavy weapons are placed by your decision and operated by your aim, forcing you to stay actively engaged as enemy forces advance.

Combat revolves around positioning and execution. Patriot systems, artillery, mortars, and cannons must be deployed to cover key approaches, then used manually to destroy tanks, troop carriers, and fast kamikaze vehicles before they break through. As enemy pressure increases, upgrading your weapons becomes critical to maintain control of the battlefield.

Every mission challenges your ability to react under fire. Different environments require smart deployment, quick targeting, and precise timing as enemy forces attack from multiple directions. When the situation escalates, calling in air support or deploying soldier defenders can be the difference between holding the line and total collapse.

Progression is built around mastery rather than automation. Success comes from understanding weapon behavior, choosing the right placements, and making the right decisions in the heat of battle. Each cleared map pushes you into more demanding scenarios, testing both your tactical thinking and your combat execution.
