The Canon Keeper is a narrative-driven theological inspection game set in a dystopian future where the government has outlawed the Bible, destroyed nearly every known copy, and replaced Scripture with altered versions designed to control what people believe.

The player works in secret with a resistance movement attempting to rebuild the Bible from surviving fragments. Each day, Scripture fragments are brought to the player’s desk for inspection. Some are authentic, some are completely fabricated, and others contain only subtle changes that can alter the entire meaning of a passage.

Players must examine each fragment, compare verses, use surviving references and other tools, identify inconsistencies, and decide whether the passage should be approved, rejected, or flagged for further review. Decisions affect the resistance, the people receiving these Scriptures, and the unfolding story.

The Canon Keeper combines narrative adventure, inspection gameplay, mystery, deduction, and meaningful choices. The experience is built around tension, discernment, and the consequences of determining what is true when reliable information has been deliberately destroyed.

The game is a single-player, story-rich theological thriller focused on Scripture, faith, mystery, decision-making, and a dystopian resistance narrative.

If you already own the PS4® version of this game, you can get the digital PS5® version at no extra cost and do not need to purchase this product. PS4® disc owners must insert the disc into the PS5® each time they want to download or play the PS5® digital version. PS4® game disc owners who buy the PS5® Digital Edition console will not be able to obtain the PS5® version at no extra cost.
