This game surprised the heck out of me. I had just booted it up right after seeing Fury Road for the first time, and it was a perfect interpretation of Mad Max. The characters are great, the lore is well thought out, the open world is so much fun, the car battles are great, albeit a little wonky, but the melee combat is where the game really shines. It's made by the same people who made the Batman Arkham games, so the combat style is very much the same. You can feel the weight of your punches as they collide with a chin or temple. Decently paced story. Nothing special in the narrative department, but not bad by any means either. Highly recommend playing through this at least once in your life if you are a fan of the Mad Max universe or good melee and car combat.
