Base Game
Shameful

I'm an idiot. I bought this game assuming I could just pick it up and play. I missed that it's online only, and I didn't know it would require me to create a special account. I never would have bought this if I'd realized those things, but I can't get a refund because I didn't learn about them until after I downloaded it, when I was trying to set it up. So, now I'm stuck with a data/cash grab I refuse to play. What a disappointing waste of money. Be smarter than me.

Good Game — Aggressive Monetization

Combat is good, building is mostly satisfying. Their monetization is very greedy for a full-priced title. They also recently changed the skill trees for every character in the new update, and locked a significant portion of the tree behind purchase of the DLC, effectively nerfing everyone who had already bought the game. I recommend Path of Exiles 2 if you’re shopping around.

There's no description other than awesomeness. Diablo is the Before and After of top down ARPG's since the genre came out in the 90's.
