Built for door-to-door battles, the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar distils Australian touring car racing to its rawest form. A 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 up front, rear-wheel drive out back, and zero patience for mistakes in between. This is a car born for elbows-out racing, where margins are measured in millimetres, reputations are made in brake zones, and if you’re not sideways, you’re not trying hard enough.
The 2013 Falcon marked the first true “Car of the Future” era: heavier than the previous generation, with spec chassis, spec gearbox, and less aero dependence. The result is racing that leans hard on traction, mechanical grip, tyre management, racecraft… and nerve.
On track, the Falcon rewards commitment. Master it, and you’ll understand why this era of V8 Supercar remains one of the most physical, aggressive forms of circuit racing ever built. This isn’t finesse—it’s throttle control, lap after lap, corner after corner.
