(Really) Short but sweet

It's a much darker Metal Gear Solid game than the previous ones and it is very short. There is only one story based mission and the rest are side ops and extra ops. They also replaced David Hayter with Kiefer Sutherland as the voice of Big Boss, which might upset MGS veterans. However, the graphics are amazing and still hold up over a decade later. Also, despite being less linear than previous games, it's handled in a way that's not intimidating. The game gives you some guidance and also they added the reflex system to give you a second chance if you are spotted. Finally, despite being a smaller game than it's successor, The Phantom Pain, you have a lot of freedom for completing the missions and the extra ops are very nostalgic and feature surprises that Metal Gear fans will love. All in all, it's a great teaser for MGSV:TPP, just way too short.

Set in 1975, Naked Snake (aka “Big Boss”) is tasked to infiltrate a site on Cuban soil. On a mission to extract long-lost allies being held hostage and interrogated by a shadow military group among other objectives, Snake must use stealth and operational tactics to understand the truth behind the complex motives of the all-powerful Patriots and their mission to create a global war economy.
