VR cyber bike

It an ok'ish arcade shooter on a futuristic motorbike. They tried to add some story here and even included a short 'preamble' game that introduces you to the world and characters. Unfortunately, during the campaign they never really use them other than short messages between the 7 missions which is disappointing. Meeting them face to face or even riding with them during the missions would be much appreciated. When you start, the game floods you with tutorials about all the weapons and systems that you can use (and the button mappings) and it's overwhelming - you don't remember half of it after a couple of minutes. And some of them are weird to use (like grenade - never really knew how to use it or the blades - never felt need to use them). It would be wiser to introduce those elements one at a time in the later levels - you would have some sense of progression and it would encourage you to try the new things that you unlock instead of just dumping all your abilities at the beginning of the game. The graphics on PSVR2 are ok - no reprojection (90fps probably), the resolution is ok but not the sharpest on the market (especially when you look around the city). It's built using Unity so they probably couldn't use foveated rendering to bump the resolution. But it's good enough. It can be difficult and you are bound to die, especially during the boss encounters. Luckily there is a generous checkpoint system and you also can switch to easy mode (which I did) to finish the game without much frustration. So yeah, it's ok for this price I guess - treat it like a game in an arcade saloon - hop on a bike and shoot some robots. But don't expect much more than that.
