A thorough cRpg epic

A word of caution this is by all means a cRpg (classic style, computer game based RPG) the combat is much more vast than simply waiting your turn and attacking (it has both active and turn based combat). The richness in this game lies in the VASTNESS of choices, from character back stories, romance options, combat builds, to the in depth plot choices throughout the game. Political intrigue, morality and compassion all play a role as you progress on your journey to rule a hostile land... Also it's a good idea to play the rogue lite mode to get a feel for what character classes can turn into within a much shorter time frame. The same can be said for the varnhold Dlc. This game from an overall value standpoint is worth it for its depth, while not as good as the sequel wrath of the righteous, kingmaker has its own charm and is a great intro to the universe...it just calls for a bit of learning if you're new to the genre (very similar to baldurs gate 3 from a gameplay design standpoint
