The new AL1 battery locomotive expands the route network with exciting tasks beyond the regular lines.
For the first time, you take on the role of a driver who gets a behind-the-scenes look at daily operations – in areas that are otherwise reserved for technical staff.

In five new, authentically designed scenarios, you will accompany challenging assignments involving construction work, vehicle transport and special logistical tasks.
Support major projects, tow defective DT5 trains, deliver new vehicles and prepare for major events.
With the AL1, you will be deployed wherever flexibility and precision are required.

Thanks to its powerful battery, the AL1 is not dependent on the conductor rail and opens up completely new locations for you to work in the Hamburg network.
For the first time, you can access previously inaccessible sections of track, including the Saarlandstraße track construction workshop – an area where technology, planning and craftsmanship come together.
There you can shunt the LB6 lorries with various goods, switch points manually and plan your own routes.

In addition to regular driving, you will experience the technical processes that make the smooth operation of the Hamburg Hochbahn possible.
Each mission presents you with new challenges – from precise shunting work and time pressure to complex processes involving several vehicles.

The AL1 DLC brings you closer to the reality of everyday underground life than ever before and shows that behind every journey on the line there is a sophisticated system of logistics and teamwork.
