So Underrated

It is such a shame this game flew so under the radar. I remember the first time I saw the trailer for this game like 3 years before it ever came out and I was so pumped about the different approach to zombies. When it finally launched I was so ready to play. Then I played about 6-8 hours and I was not impressed. The story was generic, the missions were fetch quests and clear out the zones; the same stuff we get in most open world games. You couldn't even fight the hordes the marketing was built on because you simply weren't strong enough. I put the game down for a while... But then I picked the controller back up and pushed through, and man did my opinion change. The story became very engrossing, the action started to pick up as I got stronger and the hordes are well worth the wait with how much fun they are. The exhilaration of running low on ammo and betting you have just enough explosives and stamina to finish the job is addicting. By the end, I was rooting for Deacon St. Jones(James...I can't remember) with all my heart. The only reason I'm giving this game 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first 10 hours is a bit of a drag and the game is probably 3-5 hours too long. The story just keeps going. Easily worth the play though
