Takes you to Shogun Japan and gives an experience of the Culture and Traditions

The game takes you to Imperial Japan and gives you the prespective of a Samurai warrior and the traditions and customs of the land. Exceptionally well made game

For one the game just throws u in after the tutorial there's no getting use to the game period. Medium is super hard for a first timer, game sticks and I got a lot of black screens or white screens

Well designed game and story

I liked the story on this. Not so much the very end, but the journey and motivations were entertaining. The wind guidance is a really nice system. Didn't like the separate island story as much.

top

easily in my top 3 games of all time. The story actually holds weight and stays engaging from start to finish, and the combat is on another level—clean, satisfying, and never gets old. It’s one of those rare games that delivers on both narrative and gameplay without dropping off

A Modern Classic

This game is an absolute favorite of mine. I'm not quite done with the campaign, but I've sunk in like 60+ hours taking my time, doing all the side stuff and taking in the sights. The stealth isn't deep, but it's serviceable. I really lose myself in the swordplay. You gradually gain four different stances to switch between based on the enemy you're fighting: Swords, Shields, Spears, and Brutes. You have a light and strong attack, with the strong attack wearing down their defenses and stunned them and you can get in a few hits. Enemy attacks can be deflected and quickly countered; some attacks have a blue light, indicating an opportunity for a perfect deflect to kick their butt, and a red light indicating an attack you need to dodge. The game also has a stunning Black & White Kurosawa mode if you like your samurai epics to feel like classic cinema.
