Beautiful!

Another great game from Sucker Punch! While I don’t find the story as compelling as Tsushima’s it still did enough to keep me engaged the entire run time. The gameplay is an improvement in every way and the music and sound design are masterful!

Great game could have been better

I feel like the 1st game was better they put more into the story and the open world but and was absolutely amazing I feel like with this game they did the minimum they had to but with that said it's still an amazing game with great graphics and a good story. This game is a must play even tho one of the developers talked bad about a man that was assassinated (Charlie Kirk).

A Stunning Experience With Room to Evolve

Ghost of Yōtei is a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The graphics are absolutely breathtaking, and the combat feels fluid, impactful, and deeply satisfying. The storyline pulled me in, and even though I started my journey a bit differently than most players, I still found myself completely immersed in the world. One area I think could be improved is the function of gear and items. Collecting swords, masks, and other vanity pieces is enjoyable, but many of them feel cosmetic-only. Adding more meaningful abilities or bonuses tied to these items would give them a stronger purpose beyond just looking cool. The same goes for parts of the arsenal — certain tools, like bombs, felt underused and could benefit from more integrated combat utility. My playthrough was unique. I spent about 25 hours simply exploring, completing side missions, and roaming the land before touching the main story. By the time I finished everything — side missions, main storyline, collectibles, vanity gear, and the items left behind — I logged around 61 hours. The world truly rewarded curiosity at every turn. Overall, I’d love to see more from this universe. Whether it’s a DLC continuation or a full sequel, there’s a lot of potential. The ending felt open enough to explore new conflicts — maybe involving the Spider stepping into Lord Sito’s void, or the Ghost coming out of retirement for one last mission. There’s plenty of room to build something incredible on top of an already amazing foundation.

Not as good as Tsushima

I knew it was going to be difficult to catch lightning in a bottle twice, Tsushima was an emotional roller coaster but I couldn’t relate to atsu at all, everything else was superb but story leaves something to be desired

Love this game

I loved every moment of Ghost of Yotei. Its not a direct sequel to Ghost of Tsushima but there is a reference to it. Very similar game play and style with the bamboo strikes and hot springs. Def worth getting and playing you will enjoy it!

A golden masterpiece in every sense of the word.

I’ve played a lot of great games over the years, but until Ghost of Tsushima, nothing else had ever truly compared. Then came Ghost of Yotei—a masterpiece that goes beyond gaming itself. It’s not just the greatest game of all time; it’s one of the most powerful, transformative, and deeply moving experiences I’ve ever had. It left a mark on me that I’ll never forget.

Absolutely Phenomenal!

The story is riveting and engaging. A lot of side activity to break things up so you have time to breathe and digest what happened. Having multiple fighting styles allows you to approach each new combat encounter with different strategies. Atsu's is a well rounded character with realistic motivations. If I'm being nitpicky not having a NG+ kinda sucks but its whatever. Also having a trophy for completing the game on higher difficulties to increase replayability would be nice.
