Meaningful Exploration of Trauma

I really liked the way it continues Anne’s journey after the events of UNFOLLOW. You can feel that the game wants to go deeper than a simple horror experience, especially when it deals with identity, trauma, and the need to be seen.

Claustrophobic Bodycam Perspective

The bodycam-style first-person perspective makes everything feel more claustrophobic. You never really feel in control of the situation, and that’s genuinely scary. Really cool.

Melancholic Tone and Great Voice Acting

I expected a more straightforward horror game, but I found something more melancholic and disturbing. Anne never feels like a “classic” horror protagonist. She’s well written and incredibly well voiced.

A Constantly Shifting Nightmare

The game feels like a nightmare that keeps changing shape as you move through it. You’re never fully sure whether what you’re seeing is real, symbolic, or some distortion of Anne’s mind, and that’s exactly where it works best.

Trapped Inside the Protagonist's Head

What I appreciated the most was the psychological tension. It doesn’t just try to make you jump out of your seat, it makes you feel trapped inside the protagonist’s head. For me, that’s worth more than a thousand jump scares.

Imperfect but Highly Recognizable

It’s not a perfect horror game, but it has personality. Some ideas are really strong, and the atmosphere works well. I’ll always prefer an imperfect but recognizable game over a generic horror made from the same old template.

great game!

The game grabbed me because it doesn’t seem interested in scaring you only with what appears on screen, but with what Anne is carrying inside. I found it much more psychological than the other BrokenLore games.
