Train Sim World（トレインシム・ワールド）互換コンテンツは以前に発売されたTrain Sim World®（トレインシム・ワールド）向けにリリースされました。内容は当初のリリースから変更されていない可能性があり、新しい機能を使用できない場合があります。

DBのBR 218は1960年代の液体式ディーゼル技術の頂点に立つもので、旅客・貨物兼用の機関車としてドイツ全土に知られるようになりました。約400台近くが生産されました。
その古さにもかかわらず、BR 218の多用途性は今日まで使われ続けています。その多くは、電線から離れた場所で列車を運行させるため、あるいは追加のカバーのために雇われています。また、民間企業も218型機の在庫を確保し、運用やリースを行っています。
Train Sim World 4では、DB BR 218がHamburg - Lübeck線に登場します。この機関車をクラシックなn-Wagensとプッシュプル方式で運転したり、Dostoの旅客や貨物の任務を追加で請け負うことができます。BR 218とハンブルクのDostosを利用したボーナスMaintalbahnの時刻表ゲームプレイもあります。
