Train Sim World（トレインシム・ワールド）互換コンテンツは以前に発売されたTrain Sim World®（トレインシム・ワールド）向けにリリースされました。内容は当初のリリースから変更されていない可能性があり、新しい機能を使用できない場合があります。

2008年に製造されたG6は、ディーゼル油圧式の機関車で、900馬力の出力と最大80km/hの速度を持ちながらも、サイズが小さいため、旋回半径が厳しい小規模な貨物ヤードに適しています。
この機関車は、およそ130台が製造されました。これらの機関車は主に民間企業が所有しており、事業者が追加の機関車を必要とする際に派遣される、リース方式で使用されています。Train Sim World 2では、TSGのG6 Shunterを製造者から直接レンタルされたDB機関車として使用しており、多忙なRhein-Ruhr Osten路線で複雑な入出庫作業を行っています。
