FlixTrainは2018年にドイツの長距離旅客鉄道民間プロバイダーとして設立され、世界的なFlixBusブランドで知られるトラベルテック企業Flixの傘下にあります。FlixTrainは、外部の資産会社からリースされた、全面改装済みの鮮やかな緑色の客車140両を運行しています。Vectronは多用途であるためFlixTrainの運行と相性がよく、近代化された客車とともに、Kinzigtalbahnを含む同社の全ネットワークで使用されています。
