COTA
COTA最大の特徴は、ハイスピードで駆け抜ける激しいアップダウン。全長5.5km、ストレートラインと低速でのグリップのバランスを取るのが難しい高低差があります。大きなイベントが開催されるたびにチケットが完売となり、週末のレースでは40万人の観客動員を記録するなど、地元でも人気の高いサーキットです。
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
このコースは歴史で2番目に古く、1909年に設立しました。この地域は、エンジン、スピード、タイヤ、マシンに関わるすべてに情熱が注がれています。「Indianapolis」 は、高速コーナリングを可能にする極端な傾斜を持つオーバルで有名ですが、モータースポーツの都らしく進化を遂げ、現在はFIAグレード1のレイアウトを持ち、SROによる 「GT World Challenge」「Indianapolis 8 Hour」 ほか、あらゆるジャンルのレース大会のホームコースとなっています。
Watkins Glen International
「Watkins Glen」は、1956年頃、それまで近隣の村や道路で行われていたモーターレース競技をサーキットに移行するために建設されたものです。北米のモータースポーツにおける聖地として人気を集め、主要なレースが開催されるようになりました。当初、この地域でレース活動を行っていたのは、家族の別荘をこの地に構えていたCameron Argetsinger氏でした。この一家が地元関係者と協力してレースイベントを開催し、後に 「Unites States of America Grand Prix」 とも呼ばれるサーキットを誕生させたのです。
