ONE PIECE World Seeker Deluxe Edition

As a huge One Piece fan, I was very excited to jump into a open world adventure game with a brand new story. And for the most part I enjoyed my time but I can't say it solely because of how much I truly enjoyed the game. I can fully acknowledge that a majority of my enjoyment came from the fact that I love One Piece and it's characters. Because of that I really ignored some of the obvious flaws while playing through the game. And looking back on it this game has some bad things in it. If you are someone who has not seen One Piece, then I would imagine that your experience with this game won't be the greatest. Still it does offer some enjoyable moments throughout. Pros: The exploration is this game is genuinely super fun and enjoyable. I can't count how many time I would just start launching myself across far distances with Luffy exploring the map. The combat can be very challenging at points. Especially if you have the difficulty set to a higher level. This game is no walk in the park at higher difficulties but if you are someone that doesn't just wants a smoother gameplay experience, then lowering the difficulty should help with that as well. Visually the game is impressive. Some of the attacks and effect are really well animated and the environment will pop out at you multiple time while playing. Cons: Won't go into much detail about the story since this is a non-spoiler review, but I personally did not enjoy it much. It had its moments for sure but for the most part it felt very flat. It really did just feel like one big filler arc for me. While combat is challenging its not very engaging. For the most part you are just spamming the same attacks over and over again which is very disappointing considering how unique of a fighter Luffy is. I just felt like there needed to be something more to the fighting systems considering how much you are fighting enemies in this game. There aren't really much variety is missions. Most missions and other content in this game play out the same really. Some times they will give you timer to complete an objective but it does not really change much
