Grand Theft Auto V (PS4™ & PS5™)

In my opinion, GTA 4 has the best story telling and main protagonist. This game made me jealous how the world and gameplay was top tier at the time it was first released because it wasn't in the 4th game but I couldn't stop playing this and doing everything I could with it. Not much customization but the GTA online did. Characters each great personality in that universe. I hope I'm wrong this isn't the last Grand Theft Auto to have a dark sense of humor and graphic violence and excellent music.

I used to play but noticed that I couldn't win the in game races. I have never spent real money on fake money. I always grinded money by racing and winning. Then I started noticing that I was being throttled as I am about to catch the first place. It would lag and glitch so I could not pass. I assume that the other players spent real money and had priority. So I quit years ago and today I see I am right for doing so. My money, my game. Thankfully I quit while I am ahead.

Story: Three criminals in Los Santos are forced into a life of heists by corrupt government agents and rival mobsters. This story imo falls flat compared the story of past Gta games Gameplay: Unlike previous Gta's Gta V has a health regen system so you no longer need to be on the lookout for health packs like you did in previous games. The auto aim in V is also incredibly strong compared to IV and the driving has been greatly improved. However just like past Gta games the mission design is very restricted, you have to do things by the book and aren't allowed to be creative with how you approach missions. Graphics: Surprisingly Gta V graphics still hold up, sometimes the game looks great. Replayabilty: Going back and trying to get the gold medal by completing all challenges in a mission is pretty fun. Final Thoguhts: Gta V improves a lot upon Gta IV but sadly it falls short in the innovation and story department.

They have become to corporate to even care about their players wasted so much time with support not wanting to help

Had a issue and the game froze and have proof they said tuff luck and didn’t inquire about my issue at all until i literally told them several times the game froze and after 40 mins of arguing i gave up and then they wanted to help lol no u wasted so much time with corporate responses instead of trying to help and figure out what happened tragic how far they have fallen

Maybe I'm just too old (or old fashioned) but I couldn't hack all the hood slang and the deciding factor for quitting was the character smoking pot like it's a normal thing. I'm not so naive to think all games should be clean and family oriented but this one seems like the foul language and disgusting back and forth chitchat is unnecessary to confirm the characters are a bunch of thugs. Had I known about all this I could have saved the couple hours I spent trying to figure out the game.

The single-player campaign is an absolute classic. The narrative balance between Michael’s chaotic family life, Franklin’s financial hustle, and Trevor just being pure, unhinged Trevor is incredibly entertaining. It pairs perfectly with massive gameplay freedom, great mechanics, and a world packed with diverse side quests. However, Grand Theft Auto Online is a mixed bag. While the massive heists and expanded missions are great additions, the community can be incredibly disingenuous. Trying to matchmake a mission only for players to grief you and quit is a massive headache. Worse, the addition of the flying Oppressor bikes and the Delorean has completely derailed what used to be a great crime simulator and turned it into a bit of a cartoonish joke.
