Meh

At firs the game was fun, but over time it simply because too easy (especially when they started nerfing already easy bosses), the rewards a lack luster (most especially during the game Anniversary. Good quest that would get better attention if they were actually VOICED, No artifact load outs, Mostly voices MC (paimon getting 99% unneeded lines), Not enough skins (Traveler literally has 0) so much empty space is certain areas, resin limitations suck, some characters need a serious BUFF (Dehya), Not enough end game and the endgame that does exist sucks, Good limited event stories and weapons that you never see again afterwards, Weapons banner is a scam, feels like there is 0 love put in this game compared to other hoyo games, so many dead/dry patches. Would not recommend to anyone in the games current state.

Great Game

This game has a great story line, lore and great graphics. I would like to see more tall male characters but out side of this it is a great game!

Disappointing waste

I have followed Genshin Impact since its days in Beta. I wasted 3 years on a game that appropriates various cultures and hates the people who produced that culture. Hoyo has been called out for cultural appropriation for at least a year but they are dedicated to producing a 99% white game. As they use non-white culture to world build and expect non-white patronage of their game.

Abandoned Male Characters

I started this game in 1.1, so 4 years ago. In the first year, the frequency of male characters was great and they were given diverse roles. Some were DPS, some buffers, and some were sustain units. Since then, they've released fewer male characters and most of them are mediocre dps units. Moreover, they cannot do decent damage without an overpowered, meta-defining, fan service female support to help them. As a female player, it's become so boring not being able to form teams with the more of the male cast and you can only replace them with the newest (mediocre) dps. Because of this, I stopped spending money on the game (spent in the thousands my first 2 years). Even the one top dps male dps in the game, the developers recently tried to nerf! In version 4, they barely made any male units and only 1 was actually good. The preview for version 5 only had 2 guys in it at all (and like 6 female characters), so I quit completely.

Step into Teyvat, a vast world teeming with life and flowing with elemental energy.

You and your sibling arrived here from another world. Separated by an unknown god, stripped of your powers, and cast into a deep slumber, you now awake to a world very different from when you first arrived.

Thus begins your journey across Teyvat to seek answers from The Seven — the gods of each element. Along the way, prepare to explore every inch of this wondrous world, join forces with a diverse range of characters, and unravel the countless mysteries that Teyvat holds...

MASSIVE OPEN WORLD

Climb any mountain, swim across any river, and glide over the world below, taking in the jaw-dropping scenery each step of the way. And if you stop to investigate a wandering Seelie or strange mechanism, who knows what you might discover?

ELEMENTAL COMBAT SYSTEM

Harness the seven elements to unleash elemental reactions. Anemo, Electro, Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, Dendro, and Geo interact in all sorts of ways, and Vision wielders have the power to turn this to their advantage.

Will you vaporize Hydro with Pyro, electro-charge it with Electro, or freeze it with Cryo? Your mastery of the elements will give you the upper hand in battle and exploration.

BEAUTIFUL VISUALS

Feast your eyes on the world around you, with a stunning art style, real-time rendering, and finely tuned character animations delivering you a truly immersive visual experience. Lighting and weather all change naturally over time, bringing every detail of this world to life.

SOOTHING SOUNDTRACK

Let the beautiful sounds of Teyvat draw you in as you explore the expansive world around you. Performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the soundtrack changes seamlessly with the time and gameplay to match the mood.

BUILD YOUR DREAM TEAM

Team up with a diverse cast of characters in Teyvat, each with their own unique personalities, stories, and abilities. Discover your favorite party combinations and level up your characters to help you conquer even the most daunting of enemies and domains.

JOURNEY WITH FRIENDS

Team up with friends across various platforms to trigger more elemental action, tackle tricky boss fights, and conquer challenging domains together to reap rich rewards.

As you stand atop the peaks of Jueyun Karst and take in the rolling clouds and vast terrain stretching out before you, you may wish to stay in Teyvat a little longer... But until you are reunited with your lost sibling, how can you rest? Go forth, Traveler, and begin your adventure!
