I really like this game, it was the first platinum I got! Growing up my family had an obscure vintage console with a bunch of games. But because of how those games were made to be really hard, I never finished a single one because they would always make you lose any progress and start from the beginning if you were bad at it, which I was, I'm horrible at platformers. So I would always just give up a few levels in. But this game is great for me, it very much has the same vibe as one of those vintage games, but I love it because it doesn't punish you if you die a lot and I can just keep trying without worrying about losing all my progress. It makes for a much more enjoyable experience! This game has great controls, nice graphics, and its just a solid game all around. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who just wants an easy pick up and play style game to lay back and enjoy!

Ava is the young daughter of the brilliant-but-aging scientist Dr. Cavor and Selene, the former queen of the moon. Selene is a selenite whose life depends on special energy only moon gems can provide. With none left and time running out, Dr. Cavor enlists Ava to raid the moon and bring back as many gems as she can find!
Ava must survive the treacherous catacombs deep beneath the surface of the moon. Her enemies, a legion of corrupt aliens that now rule the moon with force, are far less primitive than they first appear. Their world is full of terrifying technology, deadly traps, and armed soldiers at the ready. Ava soon realizes that the only way to save her mother is to save the moon from itself.
