    The worst Resident Evil game I've played, yet still not terrible

    I'm a huge fan of the Resident Evil series, but this one definitely does not have the parts of the series that I am a fan of. The half of the game where you play as Jill on the ship is okay, though not scary and a little too linear, but the other half where you swap viewpoints with various characters is just a mediocre shooter. The storyline is pretty bad, too. Surprisingly, the "side" game somehow has a larger-scale plot than most of the mainline entries. I haven't played Resident Evil 6 though, so maybe this game is better than that one.
