四年来，冷酷的军事占领将美国彻底击溃。

曾经是美国独立诞生地的费城，现在沦为一座贫民窟。监控无人机和武装巡警四处徘徊，确保居民彻底就范，并利用野蛮的武力排除异己。

曾经骄傲的市民如今屈服在警察国家的淫威下，为了苟且偷生，只能被迫合作。重获自由的梦想早就烟消云散。

不过，在Red Zone的荒废地带，反抗军在被轰炸的街道和废弃的地铁中集结成立。一支游击战队决心要为自由而战，无惧庞大的困难，只为了燃起第二次美国独立战争的烽火。

只是，自由是需要代价的……

单人战役不过是个开端。玩家可以在协力模式中与好友一同组成反抗军组织，成为著名的革命英雄。
