      This is the second title in the Dragon Quest series released in 1987.
      It is the game that has introduced the party system, allowing the player to have a maximum of 3 members going on the adventure together.

      Story
      The story takes place 100 years after the previous title in a restored world with 3 new countries established by the descendants of the warrior that once saved the land of Alefgard.
      However, the world is once again heading towards destruction as a wizard named Hargon is summoning out demons to destroy the world! In order to defeat Hargon, a young prince from the kingdom of Lorasia sets out on a journey to search for 2 other allies who also have inherited bloodline of the warrior.
