I don't buy football games to play online, I don't buy football games to play stupid card games. I buy football games to play offline with my own rules/sliders. This game takes that option off the table and completely kills the joy for me. I'll never buy one of these games again

Dear EA Sports Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the apparent restriction that prevents players from freely choosing any playbook in College Football ’27. EA Sports has long promoted the idea that “It’s in the game,” but limiting a player’s ability to select and use preferred playbooks seems inconsistent with the freedom and strategic creativity that make college football so engaging. In real college football, teams study, adapt, and borrow concepts from one another all the time. A program is not prohibited from incorporating ideas because another team uses a similar scheme or play design. That flexibility is part of competition. For that reason, restricting playbook choice in the game feels unnecessary and counterproductive, especially for players who value customization, strategy, and realism. I would appreciate a clear explanation of the reasoning behind this design decision and hope EA Sports will reconsider it in future updates or releases. Allowing players greater freedom in selecting playbooks would improve the overall gameplay experience and better reflect the creativity and autonomy that exist within the sport itself.

Microtransactions aside, I do not see where the player defense CPU players are improved. The added multiple toggle options into the game to personalize your defensive strategies and plaster timing, but it constantly seems like your CPU players are just constantly overmatched. I like how the CPU defense has tightened up when you play offense, but I do not understand how the player side CPU seems to ignore ratings and play like they're confused.

Was so excited for this game. EA ruined it with micro transactions on offline modes and took away XP sliders to incentivize players to pay for progression. The base game is already $70, I will not be dumping more money into it. I could have overlooked the added micro transactions if EA had left the XP sliders alone in RTG and dynasty, since they are single player and offline modes. If this continues to be a trend for EA, I will not be buying their games in the future. They are greedy. The devs made a good game and EA is ruining it #CFBPlayDontPay
