DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO NEVER PLAYED RE4 (2005) Story: Taking place 6 years after Re2 Leon is now working for a secret government agency with one mission, rescue the presidents daughter from a savage Spain cult Gameplay: Over the years Leon has picked up more techniques like parrying, dodging, and kicking. Parrying with the knife is really satisfying and rewarding and is one of my favorite features in the game, kicking looks goofy but it’s really fun to do in fights, the dodge mechanics is really on used against enemies with long weapons like shovels or boss fights. Just like Re2 you collect new weapons throughout the world but additionally you can buy them from the mysterious merchant who follows you throughout the game you can also upgrade weapons dmg, fire rate, reload speed, etc. through him Graphics: Nowhere near the best looking game but the graphics are just average imo.. Music: Resident evil ost will always be top tier I still have the safe room ost stuck in my head. Its addicting Replayabilty: Tons of replayabilty in this game you could try to replay on hard mode or maybe go for the S rank there’s also mercenaries mode and the bounty notice boards in the main story if you miss some your first playthrough. Overall it’s a masterpiece of survival/horror and I highly recommend you give it a try

Fans of the original will feel the love and dedication that went into making this game. Capcom clearly wanted to do RE4 justice and I believe they succeeded. There are significant changes from the original, but that only makes this game its own entity. It doesn't replace the original for this reason (much like the other REmakes), but it is still a fantastic game. It was worth every cent I spent on it.

Making a late review since I platinumed this game back when it came out. If you’re a die hard RE fan and love survival horror with some action this game is for you. Can never get bored of shooting down loads of enemies! Highly recommended to players who haven’t explored this franchise.

i really enjoy playing this game and i STILL am to present day. although it DOES have some flaws but the overall is VERY GOOD! this will bring some good memories.

First off great game but there is one thing missing. That is an unlock everything DLC. Now I know is got everything the hard way, but some people are still fighting for both the ranks and ways to get the hand cannon and Leons police uniform from mercenaries. So, CAPCOM if you're listing it's about that time to bring one to RE4. You did it for RE's 2 and 3, it's only fair that 4 get's one to.

I've always been a huge fan of the Resident Evil series, and this one did not disappoint. Amazing storyline, game play, characters, etc. Run don't walk to buy this you won't regret it!

As a long time RE fan I loved the original RE4 my favorite of the series. I also loved the RE2 Remake and especially this one the story, graphics and especially the chatacters.I recommend this game for anyone getting into this series.
