Great game and lot of fun to be had with the squad!

I had a great time with this game overall, the squad had great chemistry together, and writing for them was excellent same with all the other characters. Combat was addictingly fun, enjoyed the missions Rocksteady created, loved the story it was simple and to the point. I had no game-breaking bugs or crashes when I just played offline solo. My only problem was the crafting felt useless, since gear you got from missions was more than enough , but the crafting seemed too low to be effective stat wise.

My honest review

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a one of a kind looter-shooter RPG that I enjoyed playing from start to finish. From being able to easily switch players and experience the dystopian world from each of their perspectives, to the random hilarious satirical comments the characters would make while traversing the dystopian world from point A to point B, to completing fun side quests that improve the stats of certain characters. I felt the artists did a good job visualizing what it would be like if this scenario were to occur in the DC world and I felt the attention to detail is great using the latest tech we have in game development. While it's not perfect and there are certainly areas that leave room for improvement, I overall enjoyed the game. As much as the directors wanted to publish this style of playing as open world, I felt like after the story is complete it's not worth playing anymore. Completing the side missions and improving one's character serves no purpose anymore. This is to say that I stopped playing before the joker was introduced to the game. After the latest additions that have been advertised, I'm intrigued to pick up the controller again and see what I have missed, maybe do another playthrough and see if any bugs have been patched and see if the quality of gaming meets the price I paid for it. I purchased the Deluxe Edition because I felt like having the combative advantage against enemies, especially mini bosses, from the start of the game.

First Descendant is free don't buy this crap

I wish I could get a refund. It’s the worst game I ever played unless you like repetitive missions for no reason no real goal to it at all just sucks

Had Potential

The game has some interesting ideas and some really cool cutscenes, but it ultimately fails in being a fun game. Most of the time, you’re doing lame side missions in between the boss fights. Stuff like capture the flag or defend the checkpoint. The boss fights could have been executed better. The bosses are mostly bullet sponges and don’t provide any real challenge. This game could have been great if it didn’t focus on being a live service game and if more effort was put into the level design. I think the game has a very strong opening level with Batman but it fails to replicate this for the remainder of the game. The movement and gun play was enjoyable and could have been more so if the level design matched it.

I had high hopes...

Extremely disappointed In this game. One of the biggest wastes of money on a video game I've spent In a long time.

Great Story!

The game is a great addition to the Rocksteady Batman universe. Love the continuations, Easter eggs, combat, dialogue. But I hate that there isn't enough variety of things to interact with. Worth checking out if it's on sale.

From Rocksteady Studios, the creators of the Batman: Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a genre-defying third-person action shooter where the ultimate band of misfits must do the impossible to save the world: Kill the Justice League.

Join the newly “recruited” members of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X (aka the Suicide Squad), Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, as they set out on an impossible mission to Kill the Justice League. Drop into an expansive and dynamic open-world Metropolis ravaged by Brainiac’s invasion and terrorized by the heroes who once protected it.

Each Squad member brings their own traversal mechanics to help them navigate a sprawling and battle-torn Metropolis, combining free-roaming exploration and combat verticality for an unforgettable experience. Players are free to experiment with a variety of different play styles to unleash maximum damage on their enemies. Whether in single player or online with up to three of your friends, players can take on this suicide mission their own way.

Post-launch, players can expect a continuously evolving Metropolis with free new playable villains, environments, weapons, in-game events, and more, all included with purchase of the base game.
