My experience

I mean the game is definitely good. Especially the roster. But one problem I always have is every invasion mode gets more and more difficult and the challenges are extremely unnecessary. So Netherrealm Studios needs to stop making harder challenges and let Invasion mode just be regular like season 1 again

Mixed bag

I am not a fan of the Kameo system. Great story until you get to the multiverse stuff. The game delivered incomplete and it is still missing stuff. The game breaks on nearly every major update. The game is dominated by very few characters, instead of all being strong. I love MK and this game is not their best work.

It seems so interesting of the new era. Plus hearing the new editions of characters from old and new is also very exciting. To the creators of Mortal Kombat, never stop improving. Keep up the great work.

Its not bad.

The game is fun and the DLCs are top notch and couldn’t wait for Ghostface in the drop but a small criticism is that I’m not a fan of the Kameo fighter system I wish theres a option where You can fight regular 1 on 1 with no Kameos regardless You can play the game without the Kameo but if theres an option where You wanna fight no Kameo just a fair fight I would love this game a little more its not any better than what came before this because MK11 and MKX were leagues better than new MK1 without a doubt but I don’t thats saying its bad its good but not AS good as MK11 and X and I wish this game had more variety to the customization system because MK11 didn’t skimp on that portion the new customization system is VERY little and it makes 11 seem more newer than this game so if theres a step up to the customization system next update also would love that thats My review and for ratings I’ll give this game a fair 7/10.

Fun but unbalanced

It's a fun mk game. Not as good as 9 or X or as deep, but fun. It's a live service game now vs full on featured game. Wait for a sale. Also it's heavily unbalanced hence the multiple patches. Some fighters n kameos can break 500 damage easy when others do 300 damage which is acceptable. Mess up twice, game over. Be aware of that going in.

half-baked content

you know that frustrated feeling you get when you go into an mk challenge tower in one of the previous mk titles, and kan't understand why they thought it would be 'fun' to make whole sets of matches have the screen dark and throw random stuff at you while you fight? that's this games overall feel in a nutshell. some interesting game elements, but those are overshadowed by a variety of really terrible design choices, and kontent offerings. overall not a good product. if you like grinding mk games, you'll like it, but that's about the only small target audience that will play this until the next installment.
