I think it’s broken?

Looks like it should be a really cool game, but I can’t even get past the tutorial monsters. It tells you three ways you can deal with them… but all three do absolutely nothing. - use paint to befriend: I know I hit them, because they are now spattered with paint. They immediately kill me. -use thinner to vanish: I know I hit them, because they are now spattered with thinner. They do not vanish, and immediately kill me. -Fight them: partial success. If I land a hit, they do not land theirs. I can keep them from killing me but starting a never ending battle where I just hit them over and over again. I can never stop, or they will kill me. I tried this for a full five minutes straight. Then my thumb got tired, so they killed me. I thought maybe it was user error. I looked up tutorials and walkthroughs. Nope, it’s supposed to be as simple as it sounds. So I guess this edition, in 2026 on an updated PS4, is broken. Maybe I need an unupdated console?

My beloved

LOVED getting to experience this with modern day controls and graphics, but trying to get different specific endings is a PAIN. So good luck with that!
