    What a Rush!!

The feeling of flying and dog fighting on psvr2 is incredible. The game looks gorgeous and gameplay feels solid. Loving the campaign and getting used to flying different planes is incredible imo. I'd love to see more of a tutorial to better understand the aircrafts and what to do, however there are some great youtube channels for that like Trainingdays..... The devs seem to keep adding content to this game as well so seems like this will keep getting better. Must play game on psvr2 imo.

    The reason I bought a PSVR and a PSVR2!!

Aces of Thunder on PSVR2 is exactly what VR was meant to be. From the moment you’re in the cockpit, it’s pure immersion—the sense of scale, speed, and presence is incredible. Looking around the canopy, tracking enemy planes with your own head movement, and feeling like you’re truly *in* the aircraft is something flat-screen gaming just can’t replicate. I gave it 5 stars (though if half-stars were an option, it might land at a 4.5) because while there are a few bugs and some missing features—like in-game radio communication for multiplayer or even AI radio chatter—the core experience is phenomenal. This is the reason I bought a PSVR and later a PSVR2. I’m 50 years old, and playing this feels like 13-year-old me is finally living out a lifelong dream of being a fighter pilot. If you want to see what VR is truly capable of, this is it.

No cross play, no tutorial, multiplayer is all bots

The graphics and mechanics of the game are pretty good. The overall feel of the game though is that it feels unfinished. There is no cross play, you can't be in a squad with a friend to ensure you play together, lobbies are filled mostly with bots and there are zero tutorials(not a huge deal for me). The missions are fun but seem very basic and just have abrupts ends and very anti climatic. The biggest thing is developers seem to be avoiding some of the biggest complaints and won't even address the large amount of people asking if cross play will be a future update.

This is what VR is about

Devs did an incredible job bringing this experience to VR and making it look incredible. Flight sim enthusiasts are going to be super happy with this one. Battles looks amazing and easily one of the best experiences in VR. Here's to more content!

    Expected Minor Bugs

This is one of the best games I’ve ever played but there are some bugs. The menu is frustrating and if you use the hybrid VR2 controller/Thrustmaster HOTAS setting like I do you get blinded when the sense controllers disconnect. The solution is to either die quickly so they never disconnect or to quickly turn them back on. During a dogfight this is almost impossible. Being awesome has consequences.

    Hits that dog fighting itch

Review as of 3.5 hours Having only played RC challenge and Star Wars Squadrons on psvr1 it didn't take me long to find a feel for how to fly. The game does not give much info for those that do not already have a rudimentary knowledge of aircrafts and how to fly. My 5 stars right now are for the fact that I can't stop thinking of the game and wanting to be in the sky. Watching WW1/2 dog fights are what made me love the idea of flying. Also that my grandfather would have flown atleast one of these planes is neat.
