Your escape begins after the bell.

In a school where every bell signals routine and repression, two students choose to chase something more—freedom, understanding, and the bittersweet thrill of living outside the lines.

Souta, a quiet observer with a gift for reading people, has spent years hiding in plain sight—watching the world through a classroom window, untouched and uninterested. That is, until Miyu steps into his view. She's a misunderstood girl, burdened by silence and the cruelty of so-called friends. Their chance encounter on the school rooftop sets off a chain of events neither of them expected—and neither of them is ready to let go of.

What begins as a shared act of rebellion slowly unfolds into something deeper. Through rooftop conversations, stolen ice cream trips, and late-night texts, a bond forms between two souls who never quite fit in. But freedom always comes at a cost. When the weight of expectations crashes in, both Souta and Miyu must make difficult choices: fight for their fragile happiness or retreat back into the silence they once knew.

When the Bell Goes Silent is a deeply emotional, character-driven visual novel that explores themes of isolation, friendship, identity, and love. With its rich storytelling, relatable characters, and nuanced dialogue, this coming-of-age tale draws you into the lives of teens standing at the edge of adulthood—and rebellion.
